Rodeo Ground Rules must be submitted along with Approval Application and are subject to approval by the PRCA.
Proposed limits on acceptance of contestant care members must be submitted along with approval application and are subject to approval by the Director of Rodeo Administration and the corresponding Event Representative.
The policy on accepting PRCA permit members must be submitted along with approval application (see Bylaw B15.5.2).
Any proposed performance preference modification to any part of the rodeo must be submitted along with approval application and is subject to approval by the Director of Rodeo Administration.
If you intend not to afford PRCA Members not participating in the rodeo admittance to the rodeo ground free of charge, your policy must be submitted along with approval application.
If you desire special consideration to modify entry rules to alleviate an excess number, that request must be submitted along with approval application and is subject to the approval by the Director of Rodeo Administration.
If Ground Rules are not submitted below, it is understood that they are to be set the same as the previous year.

ALL EVENTS – Re-entries will be accepted for available positions on Mon., Aug. 4 between 9 AM and 11 AM. See Rodeo Entry Information Section of the Business Journal.
RIDING EVENT TRADE DEADLINE – Fri., Aug. 1 at 4 PM. All confirmed trades will be final and will be processed immediately after both involved parties have confirmed through PROCOM.
TIMED EVENT TRADE DEADLINE – Wed., Aug. 6 at 4 PM. All confirmed trades will be final and will be processed immediately after both involved parties have confirmed through PROCOM.
ALL EVENTS – If a contestant who qualifies for the finals notifies a turn-out, doctor’s release, or visible injury release through PROCOM, the contestant with the next highest ranking in the average may be contacted by PROCOM and be placed in that available position. Non-notified turn-outs and visible injury releases after the turn-out deadline will not be replaced. If the next highest ranked contestant is not available to accept the position the next highest ranked contestant may be contacted and placed in that position. This procedure will be followed until all positions are filled. The replacement contestant’s competition order will be based on his ranking in the average (not on the ranking of the contestant that he is replacing). In the riding events, if an animal has already been drawn for a contestant who has turned-out, the replacement contestant will draw an animal from a pool consisting of all animals that have been notified as turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s).
SW – Will be one go-round W/F’s (12).
TD, TR – The number of go-rounds will be dependent on the number of entries with finals (12) R1.4.3.
TR – Only two loops allowed.
TE – If a timed event animal escapes during a performance (or a re-run is given for any other reason), the extra will be used. Only escaped animals go back into herd.
QUALIFICATIONS: BB, SB – 60 minimum entries. W/F’s (12). $5000 held for finals.
BR – 75 minimum entries. No compensation. No slack. No finals in BR.
